APR::Request::Apache2 object->param should return hash reference when called
without input parameters.
It was inherited from Apache::param() of the Apache/Fake.pm and was ignoring
ModPerl.pm's redefinition.

WebGUI-7.9.7 ( beta ) works at least as of revision:

Handlers are implemented as a subs list for execution.
Predefined handlers are saved before and restored after the every request.

Required stuff are:
- mod_perl = 2  on the config
- Apache::Fake patched as supplied on a contrib/cpan/
- webgui tree patch at least if without a preload correspondent to your webgui
- version. this is not because of FCGI::Spawn at all.
- when running standalone programs like spectre.pl and search.pl (
testEnvironment.pl, etc. ) always supply them with FCGI::Spawn::ModPerl like
this:
  perl -MFCGI::Spawn::ModPerl search.pl --indexall
- index.pl can be launched from command line and as a CGI program. Tweak webgui
  path by your taste :)
- ModPerl.pm now requires HTTP::Date to simulate APR::Date behavior
